    Highly recommend doing this mod. I found that the regular bulbs can be hard to read, particularly during dawn and dusk. Upgrading to modern LED bulbs really aids with visibility. Make sure you get the same diode configuration as the ones in the video to prevent hot and dark spots.

    S15 Power Windows Dont Go Up/Down

    Sounds like the plugs might no be seated properly and no longer making proper contact with the pins in the switches side. So check the plugs are pushed on all the way otherwise check there's power going to the switches with a multimeter.
