Nistune on Spec S
First off I haven't a clue about ECUs so i don't know if it even exists for Spec S. Did a bit of looking online and couldn't find out anything solid. So firstly is there such a thing as Nistune for a spec s NA? Is it worth doing? What power increases etc? Whst kind of money would the set up be?- -BigDave-

Check Engine light - after nistune installing
Hi guys, I installed Nistune type 4 on my Spec R, after installation i saw that check engine light is on As i know, my stock ecu was not tuned, but know something is wrong... I also don't know, what unit is on top of stock ecu? (look at pic) Maybe it's a some chip, or similar...- lidorik

Does Nistune have its own ignition drivers?
I have reason to believe that my ECU sometimes doesn't produce proper spark signals. I'm told that the ECU itself contains "ignition/spark driver" which produce the pulses for the plugs. Apparently they're just a transistor or something, and are the first stage before the spark amplifier then...- empty_inside

nistune or standard ecu remap?
Hi guys, I will be getting my car mapped pretty soon and i was just looking at the options. i dont want something expensive like the PFC so its between the nistune software and just a standard ecu remap! can anyone tell me the differences? advantages / dissadvantages? can you call up fault...- C1TPT

Convert an Impul Hi-Power Control Unit into Nistune??
Today i removed the ECU from its place to install the arrived Nistune Board. What do i see? An Impul Hi-Power Control Unit :eek: Is there a way to flash it? Maybe with the Nistune Software? If not, is it possible to remove the Impul daughter board and then install the Nistune Typ4 daughter...- Benne
