3rd brake light help

I recently bought myself a 3rd brake light as i've been driving around without one.

Anyway i noticed that the 3rd brake light has a connector at the end of the wires and i havent found any port around my parcel shelf area where it should connect to.

I hope someone can shed light on this matter.

There should be a plug underneath the parcel shelf, you'll see if from the boot. Think it's a case of cutting your own 'port' in the shelf to get to it.

searched the entire boot and i cant find any connector. It cant be too far given that the connector wire from the bulb itself is very short. Though i wonder if it plugs into the port where the trunk light is.

any more ideas?

take off the parcel shelf and you'll be greeted with a white female connector, in the middle - there's only one you can't miss it
