Hi, I’m finally an owner of a S15 Spec R! Thanks to everyone for the advice that I’ve received.
Loving the car so far, spins the rears in 5th in the wet, quite a scary car! (tends to always be wet in Blackpool)
Got a few things I need to do. Sort the front drop links out first of all. Some better rear tyres so I can actually go in a straight line occasionally.
Taking it to RB Motorsport for a tweak on the map, try and sort the idling issue and it's running quite rich. Also speaking to them about strengthening the bottom end and getting a G4 Link in the future.

I don’t plan to! Haven’t put my foot down properly yet, respect it too much.
I had a 400bhp Subaru Type R and that would throw the back end in the wet too. (Seems I like 400bhp :p)

And thankyou. Hopefully nothing major.

Mine is standard power-wise and is really not very good on fuel so I can’t imagine one as tuned as yours would be any better. I’m lucky to get low/mid 20s around town. 30mpg on a run is achievable but I don’t really care enough to obtain that.

Welcome back old friend. This car has seen a few owners on here :D it used to be Ray Tsangs, then my friend NFX bought it (went with him to pick it up) Then i had it for a while. She was then sold to (i think the owner of jdmdistro) and that must be where you bought it from? She is looking good! take care of her! and of course enjoy!

Well. After checking the car over a bit more thoroughly, it was the strut brace loose which was banging... saved me money there at least!
Getting used to the car, really can’t put the power down like he Subaru, but fun none the less! Gets noticed and looked at a lot more too I think.
Body work needs attention as you can see where the kits bond.

Sorted my washers out today as they’d been split and disconnected... probably because the washer bottle had a hole in it...
But that’s now sorted and a bit of rust has now been fixed.

Calipers have been touched up in black, along with a few other engine parts that had started to rust.

Interior lights now all sorted too, along with fixed rear light and an awful wind deflector job that decided to smart snaking my window down the motorway!

Updates will keep coming :)
Loving it :)

Cheers Octo. Plan on getting it show condition. Want some DMax rears for it.
Tart up the bay a bit more. Sort some gauges.
Probably more things once I get going

So pretty much as it was when i and nfx had it :D definitely will clean up nicely with some touches! Still have the garage defend cooling panel (now sitting on my new s15) :D i would highly recommend looking up and reading ray's forum posts if you want a full history off the car. He was the first european owner and did most of the work to the car.

Thanks guys :)
Yeah, I've managed to follow it around quite a bit, between various forums.
Had it in at college the other week. Fuelling is everywhere and drops boost. Only made 358 at the crank.... which was disappointing.
Need a Link ECU and then I can't run mafless, as the decent maf was taken off at some stage and a standard one put on. The actuator needs upgrading too.
I've sorted a nice cold air intake to the induction kit, so hopefully bring the engine bay temperature down.
Still on the look out for the magazine it was featured in. Can't find anyone and the magazine itself is dead.

Loving the car, despite its niggles. Just means more for us to perfect when the sun decides to come out :D
