Ok, this is a massive long shot but here goes. I have a small niggling feeling that my ecu is that cause of my problems (i haven't discussed this with my auto electrician) but i dont want to go and buy one if its not that...soooo

Would any very kind sole LEND me a spare ECU if they have one or let me borrow the one from their own car...

Obviously to borrow one off of someones car they would need to be local so i could get it back to them the same day. I would obviously cover postage costs of a borrowed one and also pay for the service of borrowing the ecu.

As for a guarantee all I could give the person is my word that i wont steal it and obviously my home address haha! So if anyone is willing to help i would be eternally greatful

I've got one in the spare room you can borrow if you cover the postage :)
