Fitting side skirts.

Probably a really simple answer, but how do most people fit there side skirts? Mainly aimed at aftermarket kits like the vertex kit.

Just bought my Vertex Lang kit and about to test fit the skirts.

I just line them up and drill holes at the fixing points so they can be screwed onto the car, then if needed tiger seal (or similar) the skirts to the car so it's a flush fit. :thumbs:

I secured them with the holes at the bottom of the sills, then double sided tape (3M is the best) and used this black silicon along the top edge as well.

Cheers Auss . Would people recommend getting them sprayed then fitted or sprayed while on the car?

Paint before fit mate a million times easier or you will have to mask the whole car off before you spray them and as aus said spend the extra and get 3m stuff best around

I had mine sprayed off the car,so much easier. If they are a good panel shop they should ask for your car so they can colour match exactly.

I have never fitted the skirts at the side of the car, so I wanted to know that is it easy..?? and what is the procedure to fit it..??
