Orite guys/gals, im after buying an S15 but just wondering what should i be looking out for on the car, il have around 7k to spend on one, being 20 almost 21 insurance is like 3.2k for the year. Any companies specialise in s15's? any help will be appreciated thanks!

Insurance companies that I would try are Adrian Flux and Bell insurance, they gave me the cheapest quotes which was quite some difference compared to other companies (with bell i'd add a name driver on there such as your mam/dad as it brought the price right down.) :thumbs:

yeh, admiral was cheapest when i was doing online quotes but i think ringing in person is possibly best option and that was with my mum on the policy, okay any help is good help :)

I'm with flux myself as they were the best for me. Could try Chris knotts on here also. Search the insurance threads!
Also. You'll be scrapping the barrel trying to get one for £7k
There are some available for that, but they Re generally a bit ropey.

well its just a general figure im not in a rush to buy one, do they have the issues of VVTI's rattles, similar to the s14?

Yeh, much the same engine in the 14s and 15s. Not all that common tho.
Generally not a huge problem, just annoying. Had mine nearly a year now, with no signs as yet.

im with Adrian Flux, 24 years old, 7 years no claim, £780 all mods inc. exhaust, boost controller, FMIC, wheels, coilovers declared.
