Hi Guys,

Just acquired one of these from the 'for sale' section - anyone have any experience fitting? I'm just waiting on a quote back from a reputable motorsport company near me but if its not way beyond my abilities I wouldn't mind having a go myself?

Thanks!

in all honesty i wouldnt bother with this mate, i'm not farmiliar with many (if any) tuned sr's bothering with an idle stabiliser - though a cheap earthing kit should iron out any dodgy earths on the engine loom ;)

If you have a hunting idle it's likely to be something mechanical rather than electrical. BOV's that VTA can cause stalling too when you come off the gas with the clutch disengaged (like when pulling up at traffic lights etc).

I thought the EIDS could be used more if your running stage 3 cams that cause it to idle high around the 1000rpm? then again you can change your idle when getting a remap on the RR's cant you?
