Cover it in tape, front and back, then hit it with a hammer :wack: :D

If you want to keep it, wait for a sensable answer

If you ask a windscreen place, they'll say they wouldn't want to do it for fear of breaking it. From experience they are fooking tough and will withstand being ripped off. Saving the rubber would be rather difficult. Not sure if you can get the fitting bits without a new glass...

I tried to shatter my S14 quarter glass with a hole punch and hammer. Just scratched the glass... :wack:

The quarter window comes from the factory as a complete assembly...glass in rubber.
I got a few chips on the rubber surround and asked the question of Nissan, that was their answer.
