What was the retail prices of the S15 in Japan, Australia and New Zeeland?
Would be fun to know how much (if any) the S15 has lost in value from new.
Please state what trim level and year with the price

Think they were about AU$45k-50k in Oz...?

Going on the final price of the S14a in the UK, the S15 would have been about ?27/28k (AU$67-70k) if Nissan GB had brought it in.

Great info
I was most curious about the Jap-models.
You have the pricing?
How about just the usual Spec-R manual and the Spec-R aero manual?

Why do you think the dropped the Silvia?
Because the SR20 didn`t pass emission testing.

350z is graded higher then the Silvia... very strange that in NZ and AUS the Silvia S15 is about the same price new as the 350z. So over there the Silvia`s were too expensive of the 350Z too cheap :D

350z over here costs 53.000 euro`s
200SX S14a costed in 2000 about 40.000 euro`s... so it was quite cheaper!

We only have 1 model.. the most expensive one (leather, brembo`s etc.). I know Germany has a lower grade model (with no leather), guess that would be very close to the price of the S15 if it was sold over here.

But also the cost was too big to produce the car as it was only in RHD.
The 350z model makes money for Nissan because it is sold worldwide (quite well also!), just making a sportscar for RHD markets is just too expensive.

Nissan probably thought the s15 wasn't big, boxy and ugly enough to succeed in the US market, so make way for the 350Z. Did the US get any Silvias?

I know that the US got the 180SX (200SX S13), S14 and S14a. Although they removed the wonderful CA18DET and SR20DET and fitted the not so wonderful KA24DE from the Nissan King Cab.
The Onevia (Silvia S13 body with 180SX front) was also sold in the US with the KA24DE.

Making a LHD S15 wouldn't be to much of a hassle for Nissan. The main thing would be to make the S15 dash for LHD. The rest should already exist for the S14.

i saw a review about 350z not long ago, LHD 350z has unbalanced tyre wearing and the car is not aligned properly due to weight balancing
