The windscreen places have to order them from Nissan in the UK. They are then at the mercy of shipping times from Japan. I have to have been the luckiest person to have got a replacement from stock (3 days). Others have had to wait months. Basically, they are sea freight items and none of the main Jap parts suppliers are willing to ship glass.

€500 sounds quite reasonable. Mine was about £550. That's the same as a BMW X5 windscreen.

The only UK source is Nissan GB. As I said, none of the main Jap parts suppliers will send glass. There is one Jap-based company which claims to supply Jap import windscreens, but this club doesn't recommend their services. There should be plenty of US Nissan parts specialists though.
