Sure... open your hood and look at the left side of your firewall. You will see a metal badge with the VIN#.

i see a metal badge with chassis number etc and i see a code with 16 character but VIN is a coede with 17 character

No it should only be 9 characters long for a JDM S15. Beginning with S15-XXXXXX

Because they don't use the 17 character chassis number used in Europe (and other parts of the world?). However, the original JDM chassis number makes up part of the 17 character VIN if the model is officially sold in a country using that system.

Its the same with all Japanese cars.
