Well kind of haha :p

Started getting back into one of my old hobbies recently... building 1:24 scale model cars. So thought I'd invest in some time, glue, paint and a bit of patience to construct the Aoshima Vertex Ridge S15 I bought a few weeks ago lol :)

Here's what the end product should look like:

Priming all the parts before using Tamiya acrylic paints...

Instead of going for white, I decided on Tamiya TS-44 Brilliant Blue which is the same colour used on the Calsonic R34 GT-R 2003...

Here she is complete with bronze TE-37's (which I need to get the logo stickers on doh!!) and without sponsor decals - wow go me with the clean look haha :D

Decided on black rear lens units as if they were 'tinted' very dark. May go over them again with some lacquer to shine them up a bit more. Looks too flat lol.

I wish my front lens covers were this clean

You can even see them white dials woo!!

Deffo gonna start building more so watch this space guys

lol cheers for all the comments guys... apologies for late response been away on hols!! :wack:

Ray - I guess I'll have to get her running on bio-fuel haha :p

70YSR - I would like to try 'customising' some features in future. If I can find a model kit for sale with normal stock aero then I can prob try and build them to people's specs hehe... There's a store online where you can buy all sorts of popular alloy wheels etc although they all seem to be 19" bad boy sizes lmao :D

Old thread revival I know....

Anyway, I received a model S15 kit last year for xmas and want to start building it. I'd like to paint it the same color as my car, pearl white...i believe the paint code is WK0 but have no idea where to get the paint from. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the same color for a scale model or will I just have to use a standard pearl color. ( I know nothing about models!)

If not I'll just paint it an Audi white as I'll be having my car redone that color this year. :)

It's this one.....
