Question about importing...

I currently live in the US where, as many people know, there is a 25 year import ban, making the Silvia S15 illegal until 2024. My plans are to finish college, save up money for a house and eventually for an S15. I’m aware that these cars are highly desirable so their price tags increase every year, which worries me because saving up $50k+ takes a lot of time and effort, but that’s beyond the point. Anyways, I’m looking into a few websites because if I can import one in the future I’ll definitely do it. Can anyone recommend websites or companies to look into? Should I import directly from Japan or should I wait and buy an S15 after someone else has imported it to the US? I would like to hear your recommendations!

Direct from Japan will probably be ideal, but they sometimes come up cheap here in the UK, so that's also an option

For Japanese import, I would recommend a company like Cosmo Japan www.cosmo-jpn.jp

edit: Just pay attention to Rust when buying from UK etc.
