Wanting to do a full service on the car and i have found loads of different oil filters K&N, pipercross, Sumo power, HKS, Blitz etc they range from £6.50 to £18.99 but is there any difference between a normal filter and a performance filter?

Probably not. I'd just go for the Nissan one personally.

Did anyone see the stainless steel number that was in a Banzai a couple of months back? Was something silly like £100 and claimed to be the worst finest filter with a lifetime guarantee.

i agree with craig, or just buy a blue print filter from your local motor factor. can't go wrong ;)

OEM is just as good if not better than anything else. The only aftermarket filters that are any good is Bosch or Mobil 1.
