Diff question (HLSD)

Hi Guys, Hopefully one of you Diff experts can answer a question for me. My mate whos driving my S15 while i'm away has had her on the ramps and has told me that there is about 2" of rotational play on the propshaft checking it at the Diff end, I would have thought the final drive gears would...
