Hi Guys,
Hopefully one of you Diff experts can answer a question for me.
My mate whos driving my S15 while i'm away has had her on the ramps and has told me that there is about 2" of rotational play on the propshaft checking it at the Diff end, I would have thought the final drive gears would be constantly engaged rather than being able to rotate the prop for 2" until you get resistance.
My mates worried that the diff/final drive is damaged and he's going to lock up the car and die
Can anyone confirm if this is normal, cheers (it a stock diff I beleive)
