for those of you with a spec S with a standard air box this is the part number for the nissan replacement part 16546-3J400, I hopefully have the oil filter number tomorrow just have to see if the one i've got first- Paddy mack

Does your oil filter look like this?
This is my second change at 3500 miles using 5W40 synthetic oil. Look closely at the +40micron crap. If you are up to it, dont throw away your filter in your next oil change. Open it up at the base. Be careful of oil spillage. Share it here... thanks.- gunner93

Heat Shield For Air Filter

oil filter s14 vs s15?
maybe a stupid question but will the s14 oil filter fit the s15? Ive had to buy my filters from driftworks for the last while and by the time they get to me they arent that cheap! I started a new job and can basically order them now myself from the supplier but they only stock the s14 filter..?- slammedmind

OK. By next seasons I will have an oil cooler installed because I can only do a limited amount of laps on track days before the oil-temp gets out of hands. How exactly do you change oil filter?
Very simple but very tricky..... I tried from top and bottom but it seems there is more access from the top. I used strap but there was no space to turn my tool! So what kind of oil wrench do i need to use? ah...it's so stupid to locate filter there nissan!!- silviac
