Gearbox issue

Hi everyone,
I recently opened my gearbox to upgrade the snap ring that always fail.
Before opening the gearbox, it was running perfectly.
After reassembly, I got some issues for shifting in reverse (sometimes it shifts completely and sometimes it doesn't)
The other issue is to downshift from 3th to 2nd.
Sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work.
Could someone help me please.
I'm getting crazy with that.

when I put my 5 speed box in my car initially going into reverse was a 50/50 would either go in or it would grind and refuse to go in.

I then had to transport the car to a garage to identify an ongoing issue, loaded the car up the ramp onto the trailer, transported it a few hours then without even thinking popped it in reverse down the ramp and its been fine ever since.

so only thing I can think of (wether its correct or no I don't know) but I believe going up and down the ramp forced the oil into every part of the box?
