UK law on noise....

So I got pulled over this evening. Doing 37 in a 30.

As its my first offence I got the driver course instead of the points.

They then proceeded to look under the car at the exhaust.
He then went on to tell me that the law is changing to a max 99 decibel limit.

Anyone else heard this?

yeah unfortunately there is some truth in this. i read this article on piston heads which basically the law will only apply to new cars but most manufacturers will offer a free fit optional extra exhaust. its just another load of EU Bullturd
