Gear stick wobble
Hey all, Another strange question. But do your gearsticks wobble.... say.... you put it in nuetral and switch the engine off.... then just as the engine dies.. the stick wobbles abit. When the car is movign tho and in gear.... it only moves a tiny tiny bit..... how do you stop it from moving...- Anubis

annoying s15 6 speed problems
posting on behalf of a friend its a spec r 6 speed during shifting from 1st to 2nd gear at 2k to 3k rpm, the clutch was down, the gear still crunches as if the clutch didnt release. above 3k rpm it seemed to be gone away changed new gbox oil, new synchro cone, problem still exist infact its...- dns15

ECU remapping for beginners???
While im down south this week picking up my car i was going to drop by horsham dev's to get the ECU remapped save having to drive back down at a later date, but having not driven a RWD turbo before, and being 4 years since my last manual, im gonna be a little rusty on the gear change n of course...- japcar_junkie

boost problems.
boost in car seems to have gone funny. in first gear boost take along time to spool up and have to floor it very hard to get high boost, as with before it did not take much effort to fet full boost in first and secound. the rest of the gear are easier but still take a while for it to reach max...- raytsang

Arse. That'll be the gearbox then...
Looks as thought the counter gear shaft bearing has probably gone in the gearbox :( This may well have be caused by the 'S15 6MT weakness' - the 3rd/4th counter gear circlip. Anyway, sounds like a bag of spanners in all but 5th and is quite difficult to select 1st and 3rd and sounds terrible... -

hey guys i need to get all the oils and fulids changed which make and how much do i need for the changes?? i wanna get all the oils changed all at once engine oil iam gonna use what i used b4 which is Silkolene PRO S 10w-50 but duno about the gear box and diff as ive never done it b4....and...- sushiming

S15 in the wet
I just took the car out for a spin. It was raining abit and I can't believe how little grip the rear has as soon as it's a little wet outside. Is it just my car (running shitty tires). Or is it a general S15 thing? Exerienced some wheel-hop when wheelspinning in first. Second, third and fourth... -

Sound Deadening
anyone know what stuff to get, to block noises from the gearbox and reduce rattles? i removed the gear boot and went for a drive, damn u could hear every single noise from the gearbox, no shit, that gear boot is really good, so anyone know where i can get seomthing like dynamat but cheaper?- S15R
