    Any1 know where I can get a vw golf seat subframe?

    Does anyone know where I might be able to get a mk4 golf gti seat subframe for a recaro. I went on www.uk-mkivs.net but you have to have a minimum post of 100 to post in the wanted section lol I have tried ebay, also with no joy.

    Thickness of gaskets and weight of bride seat

    Does the thickness of gasket matter for Throttle body? also for any exhaust related pipe connection as well as turbo etc? Also how heavy is the bride reclinable seat or any aftermarket and the rail? I think the factory is 11kg including rail.

    was let down by the company that where making my seats, so i have canceled the order and gone for some holding monsters instead. will have to wait a lot longer now though! i could have had them already if i ordered then when i first placed a seat order!

    lowering standard seats

    In my search for room for my head - keeping the standard seats, I am considering cutting 2 holes in the beam beneath the drivers seat and inserting 3mm steel box sections for the standard seat rails to sit in. Will this reduce the structural integrity or increase cabin noise?

    :thumbs: like it says.......................I GOT NEW SEATS :D they are so so so so comfy and look spot on, they are corbeau boss recliners with bride runners, went in with little hassle and look spangly if anyone is looking to change their seats although i doubt many people would change...
