Battery Advice

I have been looking at batteries for the S15 and just have a couple of queries as to what spec the the battery should be.

1. I know what CCA is, but what is the ideal number (I currently have 330)
2. CA I assume is cranking amps but how does this differ from the above (is it a warm CA)
3. Pulse cranking, where does this fit in and why are the amps much higher the say a CCA

On a different note say my car stands for a week and I have to use booster cables to start it I have noticed that the PFC knock reading is higher until the battery has charged. Would I benefit from fitting an ignition sytem (HKS twin) or disconnect battery. If latter are there any quick releases for a terminal?

If I fitted a HKS ignition witha fully charged battery would this improve the knock.

Alot to digest and any advice or help would be great.

hmm i went for a battery for an EVO 6 iirc, Just so it was small enough so i could fit my FMIC.

get yourself a varley red top. they are pricey, but are just awesome.

they are tiny aswell, so you wont have a prob fitting a fmic.
