Destroyed my steering rack.

Looks like it overheated. Anyone see this happen before? I am switching it out to a Woodward now so I don't get any repeats.

Sure its not just the steering rack bushes? What's the problem?

Power steering fluid overheated, started melting the reservoir and I lost power steering. I am sure it was already heated up, but it failed right after I spun the car in a turn. The car is light enough that I continued to run without power steering and I would have finished the day but I blew the gasket out where the turbo connects to the manifold and lost all boost. That one ended the day.
