It's something to do with the coilpacks.
Yes,the coil pack holes are a different size
S14 ones have larger holes for the coilpacks, so they aren't a nice tight fit when used with S15 coilpacks. Also the bit where the securing bolt for the coilpack goes is at a different height so it makes the S15 coilpacks sit a bit wonky unless you space it up a bit.
