splitfire direct ignition system

Hi, just wondering if anyone is using this and if youve noticed an improvement? A friend in HK has a few and im thinking about one for the new car. any ideas?

iirc correctly nicelys first s15 had one of these but i think it was imported with it on, im sure he'll be along shortly to shed som light :thumbs: it looks like a nice bit of kit though, the only real advatge for a low power engine i could see was ease of access to the plugs i wouldnt imagine much need for it though until running high boost/power, i could be and am likely to be wrong though :thumbs:

I have a set of the Splitfire coils in my S15

They are meant to give you better spark... all I can say is that after I fitted them, i felt that the car had a smidgen more throttle response... Where they really start to help is when you start running big boost, as it provides a bigger spark...

Do these replace the stock coilpacks?

If so, it could be a good upgrade for people with bad coilpacks :thumbs:

Does anybody know what the difference is between the above product and the Splitfire Direct ignition bridge?
