That's one big turbo! Was it originally a Spec S?

To be honest I'm not sure would like to find out,only got the car today

Upload a picture from inside the boot, usually that is the biggest give away. (take a picture close to the rear panel where the lights are)

The inlet manifold and cam cover design is not from S15 Spec R but it might have just had a replacement engine or someone was experimenting.

The ECU is on the passengers side foot well, behind a plastic kick plate.

The boot picture needs to be of the boot floor area that is directly behind the lights, unfortunately the angle you've taken it at doesn't show it

Not the original motor. The black top SR20's in the S15 didn't have a distributor. I would guess the motor is an S13 red top

I was thinking that however one key factor is that the inlet manifold that it's running is something that was only on older S bodies, so I was considering the possibility that it could be a forged engine from another model that's just been transplanted in with the large turbo.

Body is a Spec-S with 103,000K's with a SR20DET swap with motor around 32,000K's
