Then, i think it was after a year or so, some guy in my own country sold his entire project and so lot’s of parts including some genuine Ganadors, unfortunately not the SUPER LEDS i always wanted but he let’s not be difficult🤷‍♂️😂

so took these bad boys to my bodyworker, including the car as a had some minor scratches on the bottom part of my rear bumper, to have this fixed.

This was the point before painting.
After that my bodyworker called me with the news there was something wrong with his paint, he couldn’t get the rearbumper and the mirrors in the same colour as the car, took him 3 times to paint including a visit from the paint brand to decide the entire car needed to be painted all over again, this time a different brand of paint.

I’ll skip the entire time the car was there with him again (luckily under warranty).
But the different brand of paint made the car turned out to be so much better in the end, much more metallic and flake in the paint, so i was stoked af!

This is the final product on the air installation btw, you can also see the new fuel hoses we installed because of the fuel filler relocation.

So while the car was in anyway, i decided i might as well refreshen up the interior bits for a fresh look and had these parts painted in glossy black.

Noticed in the summer of 2019 that this wheel would be made by Vertex/NRI, would be a very limited production of only 25pcs, noticed this would sell at the 2020 Tokio Auto Salon and therefor i rushed to my man at Japwestmods and bagged/ordered him to arrange on of them for me, and boi did he came through!!!!! Last month, after a 9 months wait i received it nmr 007 of 025.....that’s right mister Bond!

So i also noticed on the 2020 Tokyo Autosalon that 78works also announced they’re new V4 S15 tails, which also we’re ordered the moment i could, and because of the “modern look” of them i couldn’t help myself by taking of the headunits and have them made fully LED to, the next parts we’re added to them:

- 2x LED Angle eyes per unit
- 1x LED H1 bulbs per unit
- 1x LED B3 high beam per unit
- 1x LED city light per unit
- 1x sequential LED strip for running light and indicator

2 months ago I did a epic deal on this genuine Vertex Edge trunk spoiler which i couldn’t let go pass by, so yeah.....i bought it.
It really amazed me how good it sat on the trunk because first i was really sceptical about any spoiler on my car, but man i’m overjoyed i bought it. Still needs to be painted tho, but no rush....somewhere winter i guess.

Unlucky for my mate, as we made a deal on the entire enginekit and he blew up his turbo when it was a fixed deal, so he unfortunately for him, needed to order a brand new Garret T2560R turbo.
We did the swap ourselves btw:

engine is:

- Blacktop oem S15 SR20DET (complete)
- 88.000km’ers
- Nistune +50bhp (as told)
- New Garret turbo
- Greddy oil cooler with relocation kit
- Toyo sports intercooler
- engine loom
-

And going from N/A to turbo engine means, away with the old oem oil pressure and hello to the new Defi Boost gauge i’ve ordered from Driftworks.

For you lads information, getting a 60mm gauge fitted into the oem S15 podholder isn’t a 1 on 1 fit. I took the sharp side of a scissors blade and went round, around, around, around and some more around

Unfortunately after the entire swap, we came to the conclusion all intercoolerpiping wouldn’t fit because of the tubs we’ve installed 4 years ago.
Next to that we couldn’t get the oem BOV hoses fitted to.
Good news tho, engine started immediately, so that’s awesome.
So i called a guy i know which is pretty awesome with making piping like this custom.
Picked up the car and off he went.

Car was there anyway, so might as well make a custom “longer” decat (see previous post on the exhaust for why an extended version)
