    Diff ratio for n/a s15

    I have a non turbo aero s15, i think there might be a spec r diff in it but not 100% sure, it definitely is not spec s diff. Im looking to put a 2way into it, I found a cusco with 4.3 ratio. Just wondering if this ratio will make a difference to the performance of the car? power and drifting...

    looking into gettin one of these in the new year...but what i really want to know...is there any point in doing this? i have the standard helical atm but wouldnt mind doing drift days etc next yr. Will i need a proper diff?

    I'm keen to swap over my diff for a more locking diff.. I'm quite curious about a r33 gtr diff.. Would this be a good swap option and is much involved?? With updated aftermarket ones priced at 700 plus £ a gtr seems a better investment at around 200 if it worth it? Cheers guys

    My S15 spec s

    Here is a few pics of my spec s, the big wheels are gone and im gone back to the original standard Nissan ones. I'm also after changing the suspension to nismo s tune struts. Next on the list is a strut brace and a 2 way or a 1.5 diff. Thats about it really, all input welcome :D

    From what I understand, the S15 gets it speed signal from the ABS unit in the diff. I've done a 5-Speed conversion on the car, just wondering is there a way to connect the speedo up to the speed signal off the gearbox, rather than the diff?
