Garrett turbo. Oil restrictor or not? Spec-R JDM version
Hello. I just bought a new garrett gt2871r. I wounder if you guys with the jdm ball bearing stock turbos are fitting an oil restrictor or not when upgrade? Thanks in advance /Daniel- HotSauce

Opinions on turbos
Since my turbo is crapping itself, I'll be needing to get a new one soon. I'm not sure when I'll be making my purchase. Of course the longer I wait, the more I'll be able to spend. Is a turbo time necessary?
Is a turbo timer necessary? I guys. My car has got a turbo timer on it at the moment. The car is running about 245 at the wheels. turbo problem
Hi everyone, want to check if anyone got garrett turbo problems from realstreetperformance? I got 2 turbos end 2010 from them, 1 for my mate, 1 for myself. My mates broke down on installation. Mine was ok then broke after tuning. They are GT2871R turbos. I just find it a hard pill to swallow...- sjt47y

Tomei ARMS B7652 vs hks GT-RS
Looking into a turbo upgrade and these are top of the list so far. What are people using and what are your thoughts on the above turbos? The reason for these two is im staying on standard internals for now and the car is a street car. cheers Rob- slammedmind
