Advice needed s14/s15 downpipe

Can anyone tell me if a blitz s14 downpipe is a direct fit for the s15 with the OEM elbow, 315mm s15 decat and an s15 cat back exhaust, or will I need a s15 downpipe?

I don't believe the s14 down pipe will fit as it's shorter. An s14a item would more than likely fit with the standard elbow. Worth confirming though.

S14 Downpipe is what you want. S14a is too long.

I used an S14 downpipe on mine, had to persuade the underside a little to give it room. Would have fitted without persuasion but might have buzzed/rattled so didn't bother waiting to find out.

So the s14 pipe will fit with the s15 oem elbow can anyone confirm this, sibbers did make it fit with the oem elbow?

Sorry buddy, I didn't even try to find out. I don't really see why it would be different, but I thought if I was going to the trouble I may as well get an elbow on there - it offers more airflow where it matters the most as the gasses are much hotter.

No worries! Yea I know but for the power im running 300-310 I dont really need the elbow and my plan was to just fit the downpipe or I would have to take the turbo etc off to fit elbow which I dont really want to do!

If it's anything like the S14/S13 the elbow can be changed in situ but you might need a short spanner or one that's been cut in half.

Yeah you don't need to take the turbo off!! Defo worth changing the elbow!

Excellent! So I could put on an s14 elbow with either an s15 or s14 downpipe and it should fit!

I replaced the stock elbow and cat with stainless S14 elbow and stock size (315mm) decat pipe, still stock downpipe and stock exhaust (s15r), everything fitted perfectly.

I'v not asked them yet but any reason why Japspeed say S14 downpipe won't fit? I wanted their flexi downpipe.

Just get a Part shop max elbow/downpipe combo. All in one so no gaskets to destroy and no cracking manifolds sue to flexi pipe included!
