Best oil for a tuned sr20det.

I'm going to change the oil on my s15,I've had a look through the forum and lots of people use different oil.

I'm looking at millers,the nano drive stuff.


What viscosity would you use? 10/40?

Sorted gone for 10/50 after reading up on what's best...comes Monday so just off to Nissan now for a filter!

I use Fuchs Titan Race 10w 50 too, I got the filter from Opie as well.

I wasn't a big fan of it as after changing to it I got vvt rattle!! Boo. But it's widely used and gets great oil test results. I run Redline ester synthetic 5w40. Love the stuff as its red! Lol.

I've a little VVT rattle ATM and I've stopped driving the car for now..Darren I think used halford's oil I think I remember him saying as he changed it regular but I'm sticking millers nanodrive 10/50 in and see how I go as I have used it in a few of my cars and they run well on it.

they run cooler as well,not by loads but it does what it says on the tin.may try some thing else next oil change in 2-3k.

Millers nano on paper looks quality. Just very expensive at the moment, once opie do 25% of I will be trying it.

got my hks oil filter today and it looks cool !
