Hi there just got a new car its not a s15 but has a s15 engine does that count ????

i have named it already its called Ruggers as it has a Rug on its Dash in Purple ERRRRRRRR

whats the device in the red circle and can it be removed ???

The car has a fault at the moment on or off boost it splutters then out of the blue works fine then splutters again any ideas im thinking coil packs fault plug ????

Haven't got a clue what that is. Haven't seen that fitted on an SR20DET before... Looks to have a boost feed though. Where do the other two hoses go?

not sure wwere the pipes go yet as i pick it up tommrrow night so will have a proper look

glad someone else hasn't got a clue what it is i thought i was going potty as i could not find it on any photos etc..

I was thinking recirc BOV first. but then I saw the Blitz one.

My best guess is that it's one of those "water boilers" to heat up the engine during cold winter days?
I have one in my VW from Webasto. Doesn't look anything like that though.

I'm with Yako on that one. From the shape, location (right over the mani) and hoses, it would make sense.
