Uncapped S15 injectors

I have read this is a common mod on subaru injectors and they can make up to double the flow rate with good spray pattern with no drilling. Stock s15 injectors uncapped flow between 750-760cc. just wanted to know if anyone has tried it?

Also if anyone has stock ones they want to get rid of as i would like to try on some that aren't essential for my car If i can get one or 2 i will try and have them flowed and report back

I heard about this too and then also something on MCM where they did a crude test.

There is a place in basildon i found that does flow testing for about £15 per injector so will take them there for before and after. nothing ventured nothing gained!

my understanding is the mesh (that's removed) restricts the flow of fuel and that maintains the pressure within.

removing the mesh means almost unregulated and inconsistent flow?

but would be interested in the result nonetheless
