Whistle on Boost?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone could point in the right direction...

Mods:
Full exhaust system, manifold/elbow/downpipe/decat/catback

Basically as im coming onto boost you can hear what i can only describe as a dentists drill? As i get into 3rd, 4th and 5th it either stops or engine noise takes over.

Ive noticed that the boost is down probably 0.1/0.2 bar, This has only started happening since i changed the turbo to mani gasket, has something come undone already?

I thought it may of been a leak in the pipework somewhere ive gone over this and tightened it all, i do also have a new FMIC to fit at some point but havent yet, ive been told they can crack? But the sound is definately more prominant from around manifold turbo area?

Sounds like a boost leak, check all your boost hoses. Do a smoke down test if you cant find it

Was gonna say gasket but you've done it so probably a boost leak

If gaskets etc are ok pull the downpipe and look for cracks around the wastegate penny, it's more common than you'd think
