Radio harness.

Can anyone tell me what wiring harness I need to go between the S15 loom and an ISO harness?

I did think it was a PC2-76-4 but Im not 100% and dont want to buy the wrong thing.

Here is a picture of the loom in my car.

Other another note, there is a third connector behind the radio that was not plugged into anything when I took the original radio out.

Anyone got any ideas what this is? Has a red/yellow, red and grey wire on it.

Thanks,

Darren

The Nissan Micra 2000 - 2003 is a PC2-76-4 so I reckon that is the one.

Also the same as the 1999 onwards Skyline harness.

Ill order the PC2-76-4 and hope it fits then.

Thanks

Weird. Halfords near me didnt have anythign that was remotely doable :wack:

I ended up having to hard wire the ISO on - but then I figured why not!?! Its not like anyone would want anything other than an ISO on there if I ever came to sell it! :wack: :)

Halford do sell the PC2-76-4 harness.

If you tell them you want a 200SX harness they will try and sell you something that will not fit.

As Nicely has said you need to ask for a 2000 Nissan Micra harness!

They also look the same as the 1999 Nissan Skyline harness but Im not 100% sure they will work.

Not sure Id want to hack my radio loom apart, seems like a lot of hassle when it can be avoided.

im really not too worried about re terminating the wiring, ill do a pukka job, but i could not find anything with that number, nor could they. and when they entered 2000on micra it said not required.

all i need are the colour functions on the standard wiring to save me having to remove the door cards and whatnot to check.

Nissan Micro 00 as already been mentioned. It's the same as the one for a Nissan Skyline R33 -95.

If you can't find any. I can buy and ship it to you from Sweden.
But they're not cheap here. About £15 a pop I think.

Check the service manual page EL-103

The little blue connector is probobly the "Option Connector (Deck)"

well guys, being impatient and having nothing to do today i removed the door cards and used a multimeter to double check everything and managed to wire in my iso harness, all that remains though is the black wire with pink bands for the aerial amp - not sure whether it needs an earth to it or a +12v. looked at the standard clarion paper cone speakers and could almost feel the money falling out of my pocket straight away:)

i recorded the findings if its of any interest to the forum - and ill post them up soon.

No ground in the Nissan wiring loom

Fitted my stereo tonight, so FINALLY no more Terry Wogan driving me crazy!!

Got a Wiring harness PC2-76-4 for Halfords (they had to order it in) took two days... Straight fit - simple!! :)

Wierd thing with my original wiring loom in the car was that there was no ground wire on the harness. I ended up cutting the Halfords ground wire and wiring the ISO straight to the mounting bracket of the dash.. Not a big deal, but just posting this up in case anyone else has the same issue as i did..

Hi,

I got the wiring harness PC2-76-4 off ebay for £4 and fitted it today! worked a treat after i followed the advice or putting the ground lead on to the chassis! thanks for that! i could have spend hours before i realized the black ground wire wasn't going to anything! :D
