ABS... light always on and without bulb abs OK?!

When I bought my S15 the ABS functioned as it should only the bulb didn't light up when the key is turned


So I putted in a new bulb, but now the bulb is lid (thats why they removed it i thought, so no surprises there) and the abs is turned off :S

Without bulb in the cluster the abs functions, and with it (lid) in the cluster the ABS is off?! (the manual point towards a connector of broken/damaged wiring)


does this mean i should get it checked at Nissan (hope not) cause i don't see any way to get a code from the car
NDS doesn't support ABS and there is no flashing trick thingy


Any input would be highly appreciated

So far:
-Fuses are all ok (2x 30A and 1x 10A)
-Connectors are all looking fresh
-Ground OK
-Power 12V to abs OK

Done the "service-manual checks" for "abs light always on" and all seems fine... hmmm
ground are all 0 [Ohm]
no broken wires or anything...

Any tips would be highly appriciated

Found it, right front sensor is knackered

Sensor was ok, it was the LG/R wire from fuse box to sensor

How did you check the wires?

First unplug the connector @ wheel arc inside (next to engine)
Take an ohm meter and check the resistance on the sensor (was 1.2k ohm) that means sensors are fine
Next reconnect connectors and disconnect the abs controller unit
Measure resistance here, should be 1.2k ohm
Mine right was infinite witch means open curcuit
Than narrow it down
