Hi just introducing myself, ordered an S15 spec R Aero (2000) from Newera imports nearly a year ago, had the car for nearly 6 months now and realise this is the best place for me to share and learn.
Spec on import:
53000 miles
KTS front mount intercooler kit - fogs removed
Apexi Super Suction Intake kit
Greddy Hard pipe
KTS front pipe (exhaust downpipe)
Blitz radiator top hose
Splitfire ignition coil packs.
Xenon headlights
TEIN coilovers
Camber plates at the front.
A JIC front strut brace
Nismo C Pillar brace above the rear parcel shelf.
At the rear, the lower A arms & front upper links are strengthened Nismo
items with uprated bushes.
Camber adjustable rear upper links and
tie rods by Cusco.*
Splitfire coil packs
Oil pressure blitz gauge
Oil temp blitz gauge
Blitz dual sbc electronic boost controller
R33 brake conversion with BM57 bmc.
18" Enkei GTC01s
Excessively loud unbranded exhaust w/ cat. (105dB @ 5250rpm)
Had Newera source and fit Dmax rear lights for when it arrived (got the oem ones in the loft)
What I've done since:
Pioneer Bluetooth double din head unit
Blitz boost gauge replacing the erratic oem one in the pillar
Fitted Goodyear Eagle F1s - tracked at Silverstone last weekend and held up great.
Nissan S15 wind deflectors from Japan (too expensive)
Dynamat extreme soundproofing under carpets and entire boot
Got some nismo 555cc injectors ready and waiting.
Corbeau RRB front seats - need Bride MO rails to fit them (more £££)
Service including colder plugs
Fitted an engine damper but I'm pretty sure it's not moving and has caused my drivers side engine mount to split, so will be removed once I fit new mounts.
Plans:
Walbro 255 pump
Think it needs a new clutch
Fit the 555cc injectors
Remap so I know power and what's safe to play with on the controller. Currently not going over 1.1 bar if I can help it.
New pads and discs
Eventually a new turbo and manifold.
