BMC Upgrade Question

Hi,

I have recently acquired some R33 gtr brembos and have refurbed them in red (can upload a pic), they came with ferodo pads already fitted i fitted these last night and i may still need to do a little fusther bleeding on them..

managed to pick up some R33 gtst rear brakes pretty cheap with handbrake cables etc. these will be here very soon.

now my question is what BMC is going to be needed or will the stock one suffice.

i can get a R33 gtst one pretty cheap i would imagine but have heard the z32 is the one to have??

anyone on here with some good technical knowledge in this subject?

Yeah,you want the BM57 which came on the Z32 or the R33 GTR. Thats the best for the front and rear conversion you have done.

do you know if this is all i need for the rear conversion:

all from a R33 gts-t: Discs, Calipers, Handbrake assembly, backing plate, R33 cables

i wont need the skyline hub will I? as i have read in some areas you dont and others you do!

anything else needed?

i know lines might be a problem but i will wait till it here to look..

So long as you have the R33 handbrake assembly you wont need anything more only the brake lines to the rotors.Leave the backing plates off to aid cooling

The brake hose fiitings for the R33 are a different size to the S15 caliper fittings
