Boost gremlin :s

Evening all,

Last few days my car hasn't been running at its best. The other day it boosted to 20.6psi and tonight on the way home it spiked twice to just above 19psi. I checked the boost controller (profec b spec II) and all the setting are as they were when i had the car mapped but aside from that i have no idea where to start looking to fix the problem.

No parts have been changed since it was mapped back in January -aside from serviceable items of course.

Could a boost leak cause this issue?

If it's spiking then it could be the vacuum that goes from IC pipe to boost solenoid... or maybe even the solenoid itself is slightly faulty?!


But check the vacuum piping first as there could be leak leading to lower reading for boost solenoid which means it's thinking it should boost more etc....
