Borg warner efr series turbo

Hi All,

Anyone on here fitted a b1 frame efr turbo either 6258, 6758 or 7163 to a sr20det engine in stock location? If so what manifold did you use? I understand there may be fitment issues depending on the manifold used.

Have you thought about getting a custom mani made up. APW could probably make one fit , awesome turbo but the Borg are a large turbo! I have a 7670 1.05 on a full race twin external gate mani, takes up most of that side of the bay

Hi Chris,

I was going to purchase the efr 7163 from Full Race, but the manifold they do for this turbo specifies for s13 & s14. I don't know if they didn't specify the s15 as they cannot import them to the USA or whether there's a difference between the s14 & s15 manifolds. A big turbo you got going on yours mate. When I get my car back from gearbox specialist I'll arrange to pop down as previously discussed.

I would think it should work mate .
Drop them an email they are very helpful ! Pretty sure all SR20 mani are the same in the other listings they don’t specify 13/14/15 just sr20 dude .
