We've had a guy on here before who nearly bought one off them...

Their Terms and Conditions said:
Autoadvan acts as agents only for your personal import, acting on behalf of companies that supply Japanese vehicles. We charge no fee for this service to the buyers of vehicles. Our roles and responsibility is one of advice, arrangement of shipping (By request) and documentation only (By request).
It is the responsibility of the customer to find out the legal requirements for getting an imported vehicle on the road in their country. In the UK for a vehicle over 10 years old this is usually just a Rear fog light and speedo conversion. Under 10 years the vehicle will need a SVA test.
In other words, duty and VAT will be payable by you and you will be responsible to prep the car for ESVA and pay for the test, which would be a 'mare on a highly modified car...

Also, you've got to pay for a service immediately the car arrives, or they refuse to take responsibility for any mechanical failures. And I can't see a mention of the auction grade...

We are very very lucky here in Guernsey, which is different to Jersey and the UK because we dont have SVA test or MOT's or anything like that. All we have to do is get the vehicle weighed and then take the certificate of export to our Reg Dept and they register it . Also as we are in the channel islands we don't pay VAT over here, but would just have to pay the import duty to customs which would be 10% of the value of the car so far. But as you say no auction grade mentioned and no auction sheet provided - could well be a grade R. :(

*sings* you geeettt whhhaaatt yyouuu pppaayyy fooorrr (most of the time)

But 15k US dollars (ya! google conversions!) for a nice Silvia is not a bad deal. Getting it over here... that would be a pain.
