C's Short Shifter Kit - Refurbished - Including Sound Deadening Mod - S15 6-Speed
Description:
This S15 6-Speed fitment C's Short Shifter Kit comes with the Original Box & Instructions
On receiving the kit from Japan, i fitted a New Genuine OEM Nissan Nylon Shifter Bush
and also a New Genuine Nissan Rubber Boot (C's utilised the RPS13 180SX OEM Shifter Boot)
Now, the S15 6-Speed lack of a fully enclosed rubber boot promotes gearbox noise transferring into the cabin.
I went and bought a Genuine OEM Nissan S14 rubber boot, which as i predicted, was a perfect match for the base plate of the S15.
Simply remove the bolts for the S15 base plate, place the S14 boot and base plate directly over it, and re-fit the bolts securing it.
Before - C's Shifter Installed - Without S14 Boot Mod
After - OEM Nissan GOODNESS! Gearbox noise is vastly reduced for a more refined cabin feel.
Now Shotblasted and Painted for a Fresh Install into your car.
Reason for Sale: Covered a few thousand miles of happy shifts in my car, I have now sold my S15, and i refitted the OEM shifter before sale - so this is now up for grabs!
