I've finally done it. Been threatening to do it a while now but the rediculous fuel prices recently (135.9+ cent per litre for E5 in maxol
) pushed me over the edge. The increasing availability helped pursuade me too. (still not enough yet though, come on maxol & Emo)

So anyway on monday I went down to Stiv and got the 15 mapped for E85. its some job. Extra power, extra torque, reduced emmissions ( no cat needed for MOT
) & got 320 miles out of a tank. All for the magical sum of 96.9 cent a litre. WIN! We figured my fuel pump is not the may west though so a new Walbro is on order ( thanks JP
)

I do recommend the conversion. looking forward to SXOC rolling road day now. Cold starts are a pain in the ass though
but I can live with it.

Anyone else ever consider this?

Id strongly consider it if our government gave a flying rats arse about the environment and helped it be introduced to more stations...as it is they wont make as much tax so its a no goer over here :(

I reckon Id make the change too if it was more available in England.

Ive read some good things about it in terms of performace and stuff.

Will be interesting to see some RR readouts from your car :nod:
