Been following this guy on Minkara for some time now. He's running a Spec S with a N2 spec SR20DE. Circa 210PS or a bit more. Though he drifts it only, its always something special to watch being NA and all.

Here is his Minkara Blog: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/210989/blog/

Dynapack at the wheels is 195PS so I figure with 15% parasitic power train loss he's roughly 225PS at the motor.

I see he's running the S15 Spec R rear truck floor brace. Anyone know if this will work on S14's? Seems like a vital strengthening devise for the back half of the car.

im thinking maybe ls1 v8, just cause its outa the box 350bhp and as reliable as a house brick, big moneys though and the sr20det would be easier:nod: what to do what to do, ooh and also im skint :D

If your going to do a DET conversion you may aswel just save up and buy a Spec R as it'll probably end up costing just as much doing the conversion and it would save all the hassle and risk of doing the swap. Plus the Spec R has extra chassis bracing etc too.

the DET swap would cost me next to nothing as ive got most of the parts already in work, plus im a mechanic so labours free, kinda :wack:. i do love the SR20DET, i had a beast in a 180sx i built but i would like to try something different, the only thing is, different+fast=expensive. i will post up a project tread so i can get some feed back on it:nod:
