Guys i need your help

I send my engine for rebuild and now im looking to buy a head gasket.

The mechanic suggest a Commetic 87x1,3mm

But i heard from many people that cometic gaskets are not reliable.

The pistons i have are forged CP 9.0:1 @ 86.5mm

If you have something to suggest me it will be appreciated.

Cometic makes great headgaskets. Usually the people that are complaining about them are the ones that don't have their head and block shaved before putting it in. It is 100% useless to put a MLS headgasket on if you're not going to shave the head/block. The metal cannot compress and form to the imperfections like a stock paper gasket. The other MLS headgaskets I would recommend besides Cometic are Apexi or Power Enterprise. If your not having your block/head shaved then use a stock or Fel-pro headgasket. When you have the block decked, make sure the front timing cover is on.
