schu-ie was obviously in the country for this weekend's british GP. Ferrari are REALLY funny about people and their Fxx's. Schu-ie was given a black one as his leaving present when he retired..... so they figured, whilst we've got schu-ie here, why not tell people he's the stig? They could never loose..... people get a name, and it's a name that they'll never be able to top.

Schuie was paid over £1m a race in F1. If the BBC were paying someone anywhere within 10% that much to drive a car around a track id think there would be an investigation.

So...no im afraid hes not the actual Stig. As mentioned the main driver they use is Ben Collins who is a Le Mans/GT/Stunt driver. In some cases i beleive that manufacturers demand they use their own test drivers for doing the fast lap. This is probably the only time Ben isnt the actual Stig behind the wheel.
