Ming had a bit of work done on the back IIRC.
Gunner: They are R32GTR callipers. They were cleaned, refurbed and painted before fitting with my AMG 345mm discs.

yeh had the rear bumper resprayed so i got the to take the nissan badge off while they were at it and move the silvia badge up and centred it u like??

just a word of warning about this i had a few scrapsremoved from the car, my mate colin has a crash repair place so he's handy to know. so anyway he removed the badge from the but but even after sanding the area with 1800 sand paper and buffing it up the outline of the badge coulde be made out, so the badge is back on now.

Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but did anyone else have the outline of the nissan badge left on their car boot?
I'm considering doing this but not if it will leave a nasty outline on there. would ruin it I think.
All I'll use to clean it up is T-Cut as thats all I have at my disposal lol.
This is re a black coloured car if that makes any difference.

Mine doesnt have the outline
I've never heard anyone having an outline after removing the badge
Fishling line + heat blower(hair dryer is ok as well) + eucalpytus(sp?) oil
The eucalyptus oil will remove all the stain left over by the sticky tape

I just rub the area with the eucalpytus oil after I remove the badge?
So is that preffered to T-cut then?
If I decide on it, I plan on doing it in the next week or so.

Mine has got a very slight outline where the Nissan badge was. Its not a fade mark, its very, very slight puckering of the paint around the outline. It completely unnoticeable unless you get really close and look at an angle.
