Rocker cover refitting

Hi All
i may be being a complete spanner here but i have just refitted my rocker after being painted but now the car wont start, it ticks over but now start up.... Am i missing somethin stupidly obvious??

it should still start up? if you didnt touch the cams or cas?

No haven't touched anything... ticks over just wont fire up

It doesn't fire up? Or wont rev up? Bit confused on what you mean!

Sorry, yeah won't fire up.

Try disconnecting the battery for ten minutes to reset the ECU. When I had mine painted it was idling really high, disconnected the battery and it ran fine

Hi, just tried that and no joy... wondering if a fuse may have gone for the fuel pump or something. that's next to try tomorrow. any other ideas? Cheers mate.

Did you reconnect the coil pack ground?

Um... think so, everything i took off is back on as far as i can tell... which bit is the ground?

and the very back of the rocker cover its on the head, and the clip that goes onto the fire wall too
