I looked into this recently and your ok providing the total weight doesnt exceed 3.5 tonnes. Dont take my word for it though go on the DVLA website its all on there.

I've done alot of looking into it and there is a massive thread in the scots sxoc about it, seems its not as easy as you say, the tow car has to heavier than the total MAM of the trailor, which means if the trailers total MAM is 2000kg's, but your only carrying 1240kg's (S15), you still need to have a car that weights more than the 2000kg's MAM, BUT you not allowed to exceed the 3.5tons you stated.

The above applies to anyone who passed their test after 97, so that'll be all but Nicely then :wave:

just a thought but how about if we arranged it for somewhere in eurpoe? this way we could get the likes of elizium, yakozan etc involved too :thumbs:

surely if we did it somewhere say like belgium then it would be middle ground for everybody? lol geography was never my strong point before i get a whipping
